MSc Scholarship Opportunities in Petroleum-Related Courses
The Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment is currently offering scholarships for students undertaking taught MSc degrees commencing in the academic year 2018/2019 in geoscience, petroleum engineering or environmental science topics of direct relevance to the development of Ireland's petroleum resources.
The level of support offered will be up to a maximum of €12,000 of necessary course related costs e.g. University tuition fees, fieldwork, travel and consumables. Please note that support will not be available for accommodation costs or other living expenses.
Funding, if offered, will come from the Petroleum Infrastructure Programme - Expanded Offshore Support Group Fund (PIP – EOSG) which is managed by the Department.
Applications are invited from persons who have been accepted into a taught MSc degree course as outlined above commencing in the academic year 2018/2019, and who have either successfully completed a relevant honours primary degree course or propose to complete a relevant honours primary degree course in the academic year 2017/2018.
